Hi, I'm Helen!

I have recently graduated from Swinburne University with a double degree in Design/Media and Communications.
I have always had a passion for art and design.
I chose to combine my Design studies with Media and Communications to learn how to understand an audience and subsequently best deliver a message through appropriate media channels and communication design.

Working on a wide range of design projects over the past 4 years has opened my eyes to the many possibilities design work entails.
​
I have become particularly interested in brand and identity design, publication design and social media content creation.
Diving into the personality of a brand with a client and delivering strategic and creative branding is always an exciting process.
Another form of artwork I enjoy creating are personalised digital portraits at my small art business @art.byhelen.
My most popular request involves vector colour and line work based on photographs sent in from clients.
Seeing my client’s reaction to a custom-made artwork inspires me to continue creating for others.

When I’m not working, I love going on day trips to new places in Victoria.
Finding hidden gems in nature, capturing photographs of the outdoors, and supporting local businesses is something I very much hope I can continue to explore through my work.
